Caribbean Printing Co. recently invested in new server hardware however the actual network implementation was out dated, incomplete and unsuitable for a mixed Macintosh and Windows environment.
Fresh Mango Technologies were able to utilise the new hardware by upgrading it to provide better performance, redundancy and greater storage capability for the large amount of images a successful printing company needs.
Introducing Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 to the network provided a centralised Exchange email server which was configured to host 2 email domains for Caribbeanprinting.com and BVIwelcome.com on the same local network, accessed by Outlook from Windows machines and Entourage or Apple Mail from Macs.
By upgrading the Macintosh PC's to the latest operating systems, both Windows and Macintosh PC's can now have access to the central file store which have been secured into areas for accounting, operations, resouces and client work.
Secure webmail and VPN were configured to allow remote access to the network and email.
Finally, we reconfigured their printing machinery, including Fiery and RIP servers, to the new network.
