As a fund management company, up time and reliability are two of Castlegate's most important requirements. When early this year their old server started having major issues due to a hardware problem, this resulted in a full ground up server restore, putting our backup strategies to the ultimate test. Whilst our emergency fix allowed them to continue working during the week with minimum disruption, the decision was made to scale up to a new, more powerful server running Small Business Server 2008, with greater redundancy. Fresh Mango worked out of hours, evenings and weekends, to get the new network in place. Integrating an enterprise class Oracle Database solution for their client software solution proved a tough challenge, but was ultimately successful.
